Ingredients
12 Medjool dates, pitted
2 bananas, sliced into 12 rounds
Chocolate Tahini Sauce
4 tbsp tahini (made from sesame seeds)
2 tbsp maple syrup
2 tbsp cocoa powder
2 tsp melted coconut oil
Method
Press each pitted date into the base of an ice cube tray or silicone mould, flattening it to form a small cup.
Place one banana slice on top of each date.
In a small bowl, whisk together the tahini, maple syrup, cocoa powder, and melted coconut oil until smooth. Add 1-2 teaspoons of warm water if needed to create a pourable consistency.
Spoon the chocolate tahini sauce over each banana slice.
Freeze for 2-3 hours, or until completely firm.
Remove from the mould and enjoy straight from the freezer.
