Lie on a firm surface with your knees bent.
The separation may potentially start near the bottom of your bra and end after your belly button so it’s best to test the full length of your abdominals.
To start......place your index finger and middle finger at the midpoint of your abdominal muscles and gently lift your head and the top of shoulders.
Feel if there is a gap caused by making this increase in pressure.
Return to the start position (head back on the ground) take a moment and then MOVE YOUR FINGERS DOWN A FEW INCHES and perform the LIFT AND FEEL strategy again.
Keep going until you get to two inches past your belly button.
When you feel a gap, measure its WIDTH using your index finger and middle finger as a guide.
Also what does the midline tissue feel like? Is it very slack and papery or is it firm? How much resistance is there to your fingers pressing?
